Why Systemic Innovation has become increasingly relevant to organisations and companies?
We live in a changing world which that is no longer as predicatble as it once was. We no longer have the same control over the market or over our stakeholders and the ecosystem which our companies are part of is constantly changing. How can we best face this? While companies and their leaders still seem to be looking for continuous growth in a world that is finite, today it is clearer than ever to what extent this vision no longer applies… At the same time, alternative visions for many companies exist now and a new world is being unveiled. Threat or opportunity? We are convinced that a sustainable economy capable of satisfying our needs without encroaching on the opportunities of future generations exists. There are more and more cases that demonstrate this. Still, more than ever we are confronted with our planetary limits. We are engaged in building a more sustainable economy. One that is viable and also cares to reduce our impact on climate change and the collapse of biodiversity. To help create such a new economy is more relevant today than ever before and we invite all business leaders to play their part.
